A service of celebrating women’s ministry in our parish and in particular the AWA was held Sunday 21st August, 2016 at All Saint’s Church, Dunedoo. The Liturgy was projected on the big screen, the sanctuary wall at the front of the church .(The service on the big screen was so well received that it was suggested by some that it could become a regular occurrence for our service at All Saints’. What do you think?) An advertisement for the AWA was produced by Fr Robert, using photographs of past and present members at activities, some projects the AWA has funded in the parish, was played during the service. The AWA member processed in following the Dunedoo AWA banner, and the procession out was highlighted some of the members doing a gig to a recording of “Scotland the Brave” performed by the NSW Police band. A presentation of certificates of appreciation to Barbara and Peter Bennetts, and Evelyn Finch was made by the president of the AWA, Win Rowbotham, breakfast served after the service by the men of the parish with a BBQ egg, bacon and sausage bun, tea and coffee and other delights. All part of the celebration of Women’s Ministry and in particular our AWA at All Saints’ last Sunday. Well done good and faithful servants.
