Dear brothers and sisters,
Why doesn’t a good God stop a bad virus? That’s the question I will explore in our services for this Sunday.
During services over the next four weeks, I will be inviting people for whom wrestling with these issues raises questions, to join my Jesus Explained course which will run in two-time slots on the first four Tuesdays in July – 4 pm and 7.15 pm. I will be running the course via zoom, so all who can use this technology, no matter where they are in the diocese, can join. In this course, I will explore who Jesus is, why he came to earth, why he died and what difference he makes in our lives. It is designed both for those who do not yet believe and also as a refresher for any who would like to go back to the basics. There is no pressure for anyone to say anything or read anything aloud but plenty of opportunities to ask me questions.
To register, as will be explained in the services, people need to email firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know they are keen to sign up. I will take the first 20 people who register in each time slot. I’ve attached a flyer people can use if they want to invite others. Don’t hesitate to be in touch by the email or the phone number below if you have any questions.
