All Saints’ Church Dunedoo, constructed in 1924 and extended in the 1950s.
A SHORT HISTORY OF ALL SAINTS’ DUNEDOO
St Andrew’s Coolah and was built in 1875. The Fete depicted here is held in September, (check out our Newsletters for the date and time.)
EARLY HISTORY OF ST ANDREW’S CHOOLAH
The Elong Elong Worshiping Community servicing the Elong Elong village and district meets once a month in the Elong Community Hall (The old School building)
St Chad’s Mendooran services the Mendooran township and district meeting monthly. Mendooran is the oldest town of the Castlereagh River
St Laurence Neilrex is the only church in the village of Neilrex and meets once a month.
St John’s Church in the village of Uarbry, unfortunately, was destroyed by the Sir Ivan Bush fire in February 2017 when the village of Uarbry was almost wiped out and 550 square kilometers of bush, farms, and properties were badly damaged with many homes, livestock and sheds destroyed.
